LA
Looking a bit overcast, we have to make our way to that blue tent city in the background.

Weather Report.  All day long the radios were promising rain this evenings.  After two rainouts, we were apprehensive about another,   Luckily, except for a few minor sprinkles, the evening was a complete success. As always, FREE admission but you need a wrist band to purchase adult beverages.

LA
Here's one of the first families to arrive and receive their wrist bands.

LA
Then heading on down the trail with their swing chairs to the band, food, and beverages below.

LA
Here's our crew and the band ready and willing to put on a good time.

LA
Yup, they're ready and sampling the products before the crowd arrives.

LA
You need a handful of tickets to get in on the food and beverages.  You can hear the band for free.

LA
Lots of food and drink choices.

LA
Many former Riverview attendees had to have an official T-shirt.

LA
And there was other Riverview memorabilia.

LA
Before the crowd arrived there was plenty of time to peruse.

LA
Our favorite Master of Ceremonies, Tim White, introduced the band.

LA
The Blue Band helped pull in a growing crowd.  Sambetti's and the First Class Credit Union footed the bill.

LA
As the band opens, there's still plenty of room on the concrete.

LA
They keep coming with their chairs and strollers.

LA
And their bicycles and kids (and an occasional cigarette).

LA
And they came marching down the hill attracted by the band and the aromas of the food.  And maybe some were thirsty.

LA
Sponsor, Sambettis, added some tasty barbecued brisket sandwiches to the menu.

LA
As The Blue Bands gets the crowd warmed up, the crowd continues to grow.

LA

LA
As the crowd grows, it's harder to find the concession lines.

LA
You had to be careful not to step on some of the short people.

LA
There was still plenty of room to spread out on this side.

LA
That parking lot up there's starting to look fuller.

LA
These people know how to have a good time or not?

LA
Here's some crowd pictures.  See if you know anybody.

There were lots of people on the grassy areas also.

Reverend Jim bids you to drive home safely.

LA
Give everyone a hug before you leave.

Ooh ... Ah ... Yay ... Clap, clap, clap.
